The Yelling Customer

OK here is another one of my peeves, that is the customer that yells and screams waving his hands thinking he will get anything he wants. Customers that start doing it where I am concern will not get an once of help from me. I had one customer who thought he could pickup a computer that was on repair without his invoice. He started to yell and scream, he looked like my son hopping up & down. I said exactly this to this clown, I said doing a song & dance sir will not get you this computer so please calm down because I have no proof that this computer belongs to you. I am sorry but you will have to return with your recite. I say that a customer that is pleasant will always get that extra mile from me and a customer that’s a bastard and unpleasant will not get one inch of effort from me. The only problem nowadays is that there are people of authority that have no back bone and will give anything to the customer to shut them up. Like one one client that came into the store with 7 empty boxes of Bic pens and wanted a refund. She started to yell at the cashier saying that her husband found the pens to be crap so he threw them into the trash so now she would like a refund, of coarse we explained to the customer that if she wants the refund she would have to bring in the pens of coarse the yelling continued and what you thing happened one of the managers came and gave her the refund, I couldn’t't believe it! They say that hows you please the customer to bring in business and I say have a little backbone! Doing that will only bring the customers that give nothing beneficial to the store except more yelling & screaming , which you end up loosing money rather than making it. I agree the custmer is not always right,but is your companies money worth the backbone or health ,just a small taught!
