The Cell Phone

The Phone, specifically the cell phone. Are most people really using the phone as a tool or are they just yapping and wasting time saying something that can be told once your face to face with the person you were talking with on the phone. I tell you the people I see talking on the phone are just talking nonsense. I hear them yapping and gossiping and reallying not using the phone for what it was really invented for. Like here are some examples of what a phone was meant for ”hello Pete, pick up some bread & milk on the way home”. Or “hello John, I will be late for the meeting so go on with the meeting without me” etc….I say on average a call should last about 5 min, which should be more that enough time. Personally since I can remember I hated the fact that the phone exist, people interrupt dinner, sleep or just when a person wants to relax you get the annoying telemarketing call. With a cell, I’ve seen interruptions at the movie theater, church & office meetings & not to mention people have had acidents recieving or talking on a cell phone while driving. So that is what I think, so I leave you with this example that I found! Enjoy.
