Well I have been noticing lately through the years that the holiday spirit is becoming less & less visible, I have notice more than usual because my related job in customer service. To this date this year I haven’t even gotten one happy holiday or merry Christmas greeting from either a customer or friend or family. All I see are people coming up to me and complaining that they have waited over 10 min and still haven’t gotten service yet , but what really pisses me off is that they complain when they see full well that I & everyone else are busy with serving other customers etc.. All I would like to really do is grab that person by the ear and explain to them that the door they just walked in swings both ways and that they can leave if they find that the wait time is to long and just stop complaining to the people that don’t give a rats ass that there waiting in a time that naturally is a busy time of the year. This is why I ponder for the good old days when friends, family really cared about getting together and enjoying each ones company like the old movies that play on TV this time of year show ” good meal,presents,music & singing etc.. I lived all that while in my youth, but now I can’t stand the crap & monotonous routine of the expected meal & gifts for the kids in the fast pace wealth driven society. I really feel sorry for this & the next generation of kids that will be growing up and missing the great warmth of what it means to have good will to all men & women.
